Sydney Taylor Glen Burnie, MD

Sydney Taylor, Office Manager & Compliance Officer

I was born in Silver Spring, MD and have since lived all over Maryland! Since I was 5, I have always played sports. I started playing soccer and tee-ball as a kid, then started swimming, softball and did cheerleading for ten years. I graduated from Chesapeake High School in 2014.

I love working with children, animals and people in general! After high school, I went to Anne Arundel Community College in pursuit of and Elementary Education degree. I was planning on becoming a second-grade teacher. As I went through school, I realized that I just wasn’t as passionate about it as I had thought. I decided to take some time off from school and figure out what I wanted to do. I worked in the service industry for 4 years and would have never thought that I would enjoy an administrative role…but I love it (it makes me feel like a real adult)! I love working behind-the-scenes of a medical practice. Although I’m not a Physical Therapist myself, I still get to help people accomplish their goals and get back to their lives and daily activities, pain-free! I have been through PT myself for three different sports-related injuries and always found it fun and interesting.

Outside of work, my plans for the future consist mostly of traveling. I dream of seeing the world! I would love to go Thailand, Australia and Ireland, just to name a few. I love everything about the outdoors; being by the water, the fresh air, the sunshine, I love it all! In July 2017, I completed my first hike, conquering Mt. Katahdin in Baxter State Park. It is the end of the Appalachian Trail and the highest mountain in Maine with an elevation of 5,267 ft., about a 12-mile hike. Within the next five years, I plan on thru-hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, starting at the Mexican border and ending at the Canadian border. I’m sure I will need some PT after that!
