Garrett Reed, Physical Therapy Technician

I am a lifelong Pasadena, Maryland resident, or as many call it, “The Dena”. I graduated from Chesapeake High School in 2015. I am also a recent graduate from Anne Arundel Community College with my Associate’s degree in Business Management. During my schooling, I worked as a Physical Therapy Technician for three years, where I discovered my love for helping others get back to doing the things they love. Being a Tech was a great stepping stone into the world of physical therapy, allowing myself to meet a lot of different people over the years and form relationships with those people so the experience goes beyond just “going to PT”. I truly enjoy speaking with others and getting to know their stories, not just their injuries, and trust me, there are no shortages of great stories that I have heard!

Outside of work the past few years, I have crossed off some major life milestones: graduating college, getting engaged to the love of my life, and soon actually getting to put a ring on her finger…well, another one at least. I enjoy exploring the outdoors on hiking adventures and traveling with my soon to be wife. Some of our favorite spots are The Outer Banks, Sugarloaf Mountain, and Lewes, DE.

Some other hobbies of mine are watching Baltimore Ravens football, or any sports really! I’m a bit of a nerd when it comes to that stuff, and I also love watching TV and movies. Some of my favorites to binge watch are Game of Thrones, Stranger Things, and basically any Jim Carrey movie, so feel free to test my pop culture knowledge when you see me! I am thrilled to be a part of the Atlas Physical Therapy team and I’m looking forward to being a part of more great stories!
