Becky Dukan

I was born in Baltimore County and lived in Harford County my entire life. I went to Joppatowne High School for my freshman year. I realized that I learn better on my own, so I completed my remaining 3 years in about 6-8 months online, with Penn Foster. After high school, I took a year off to work and decide which career path to follow. I decided to get my physical therapy aide certificate with Penn Foster and finished it in a little less than a year.

Other than English, I can speak Russian and Ukrainian. I’ve attended a Slavic church in Baltimore City my entire life, so keeping up with my other languages is a must. I’m very passionate about fitness and nutrition; I love taking care of myself and helping others around me. If I’m not at work, I’m with my friends or at the gym. My favorite thing to focus on at the gym is my legs…. Every day is leg day. I mostly deadlift and squat. My sister Jenny is my gym buddy and my grandfather was a professional gymnast when he lived in Ukraine, I would say being active runs in the family.

I enjoy being outside, only when its warm out. I love to hike, swim, and explore new places with my friends. Visiting Finland is definitely at the top of my list to go explore. I love to sing, growing up I had no choice especially since I was in the children’s choir. I grew to love it. The more I sang in church, the more comfortable I became singing in front of a crowd. The one thing I love more than anything is Chick-Fil-A, if I could eat it every day, all day, I would. On my lazy days I enjoy watching the office on Netflix. My favorite quote from The Office is “Would I rather be feared or loved? Easy. Both. I want people to be afraid of how much they love me.” – Michael Scott

I enjoy working at Atlas Physical Therapy, It’s the best job I’ve ever had. I love my Atlas fam. I also love meeting and talking to all the patients that come in.
